PUDUCHERRY: The Southern Railways has increased the frequency of the express train service between Puducherry and Chennai from April 12. Member of Parliament M. Ramadass in a release said the passengers had requested for increasing the frequency of the express train to all days of the week which till now had no service on Thursdays and Sundays. The express train from Chennai to Puducherry, which had no services on Wednesday and Saturday, had been made daily. The train would leave Puducherry at 5.35 a.m. and arrive at Chennai at 9.15 a.m. It would start from Chennai at 6 p.m. and arrive at Puducherry at 10 p.m.
