KALPETTA: A school girl drowned but her friend was rescued when they fell into the Karapuzha reservoir in Wayanad on Tuesday. The body of Lissy (14), an eighth standard student of Ambalavayal G.H.S.S, was recovered from the reservoir. Her friend, Shajila, was rescued by the villagers. The accident happened while they were taking bath in the shallow water of the reservoir.— Staff Reporter
