Three drowned

Kasaragod: Three teenagers were drowned in the Chandragiri River at Cheroor near Kasaragod town on Tuesday afternoon. The police identified them as Sabir, 16; Mubarish, 15 and Musabir, 12; all natives of Cheroor. The police said they were caught in a whirlpool while bathing in the river. Their bodies have been recovered. — Staff Reporter
