Bangarappa to meet Mulayam Singh

BANGALORE: Samajwadi Party State president S. Bangarappa will go to New Delhi on Wednesday to meet party leaders Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh.

Mr. Bangarappa, who was in hospital for a couple of days, said he had fully recovered and was ready to hit the campaign trail. “I am ready for the campaign, but the list of candidates is not ready,” he said.

“My party is not in a hurry to plunge into electioneering nor will we take decisions based on the actions of other parties,” he said. His son, Madhu Bangarappa, will be accompanying him to Delhi. — Special Correspondent
