DEHRA DUN: The annual Char Dham Yatra season this year will begin with the reopening of the Gangotri, Yamunotri and Kedarnath shrines on May 7. The Badrinath shrine will reopen on May 9. Announcing this here on Tuesday, Char Dham Development Board chairman Suratram Nautiyal said special steps to be taken this year to make the yatra comfortable and safe include setting up of 45 trauma centres and provision of clean drinking water and toilet facilities.
