HUBLI: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (First Court), Hubli, on Tuesday, extended the judicial custody of seven persons, including terror suspects Riyazuddin Nasir and Asadullah Abubakar, till April 28. The JMFC (First Court) S. Srinivas also put off the hearing on the bail application of Mohammed Asif and the application on the alleged assault on Riyazuddin and Asadullah in the Hubli prison to April 28. The other five accused whose judicial custody was extended on Tuesday are Mohammed Asif, Allah Baksh Yadawad, Syed Sadiq Sameer, Shakil Mali and Yahya Khan. Earlier, the judge allowed A.A. Savanur, counsel for two of the accused in the case, to speak to his clients in the open court for a few minutes following his request. Body warrantFollowing the requisition by the Corps of Detectives officials for bringing five SIMI activists arrested in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, for interrogation, the Judge issued them body warrant. The names of the alleged SIMI activists in whose name body warrant was issued are Hafiz Hussain Mulla alias Adnan, Safdar Nagori, Mirza Ahmed Baig, Shibli and Qamaruddin. However, the CoD officials were tight-lipped on when they planned to execute the body warrant and bring the SIMI activists from Indore to Hubli.
