Rajiv stars for Indian Airlines

NEW DELHI: Rajiv struck two goals as Indian Airlines scored a 4-0 victory over Urban Development Ministry in the DSA institutional ‘A’ division super league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Tuesday. Mark Ignity and Manoj scored the other goals.

In another match, All India Institute of Medical Sciences beat Central Secretariat 2-1. Rajan Rao opened the account for AIIMS in the first minute, while Mohammed Khalid equalised for Central Secretariat in the 40th minute. K. Damian struck the match-winner for AIIMS in the 65th minute.

Referee assaulted

The match between Delhi Development Authority and Airports Authority of India was abandoned in the 54th minute following an ugly incident. Mohammed Aslam of the DDA assaulted the referee Ramesh Kanth. The DSA has suspended the player with immediate effect. — Special Correspondent
