Assessment programme for umpires

Bangalore: A two-day assessment programme for umpires from the South Zone will be held at the National Cricket Academy on Wednesday and Thursday.

Former India captain and former ICC panel umpire S. Venkatraghavan is expected to chair the sessions that will review the performance of the umpires based on the video-taped footage of matches in the last domestic season.
