KOZHIKODE: The district conference of the Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama led by its general secretary Cherussery Sainudheen Musliyar will be held near Arayidathupalam here on April 19 and 20. The conference with the theme, ‘For protection of tradition,’ will begin with reception committee chairman Parannoor P.P. Ibrahim Musliar hoisting the flag at 9 a.m. on April 19. Samastha president Kalambadi Muhammed Musliyar will inaugurate the conference. Samastha district secretary Chelakkad Muhammed Musliyar will preside, Samastha district office-bearers told reporters here on Wednesday. Khasi Kozhikode Sayyid Muhammed Koya Thangal will inaugurate the philosophical session in the afternoon. About 2 lakh persons will attend the conference.
