Naidu’s rally to spread awareness
Special Correspondent.
HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu has said his 100-day ‘Meekosam’ yatra, starting April 21, was aimed at improving awareness among people in general and specifically to expose the ‘misdeeds’ of the Congress government.
At a press conference here on Wednesday, he announced the first week’s schedule after launching the yatra with a public meeting and road show at a ‘dalitwada’ in Chandragiri of Chittoor district. Mr. Naidu said the time had come for people to teach the Congress a lesson for failing to honour its pre-poll promises. The party would highlight ‘alarming’ levels of corruption and focus attention on ‘skyrocketing’ prices.
