TTD to have tie-up with Brahmakumaris

Staff Reporter

TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is in the process of inking a pact with the Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya to formally invite the latter for rendering voluntary service in the Tirumala temple and for propagation of their philosophy through the TTD’s Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel.

Experts and ideologues from the Brahmakumaris have been invited to deliver lectures on spiritualism and human values at the TTD’s HRD centre of Sri Venkateswara Employees Training Academy (SVETA). It conducts training programmes for its 16,000 strong workforce on temple rituals and administrative matters.

At the instance of Executive Officer K.V. Ramanachary, a TTD team is now touring the Brahmakumaris’ headquarters in Mount Abu to get familiar with their activities so that the same could be replicated here. SVETA Director Bhuman, Catering Officer G.L.N. Sastry and Assistant Public Relations Officer T. Ravi are part of the team that is engaged in talks with the Additional Chief Dadi, Hriday Mouni, in exploring the possibilities of providing better service to the pilgrims.

The TTD has invited members of the Brahmakumari clan to enrol themselves as ‘Srivari Sevaks’ and render voluntary service to the visiting devotees at Tirumala. ‘
