Prosecute Priyanka: Swamy

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy said on Wednesday that the Tamil Nadu government must prosecute Priyanka Vadra “for criminal offence of trespass into a highly restricted prison” in Vellore.

In a statement here, Dr. Swamy said the jail authorities had confirmed that “Ms. Vadra did not get the requisite permission to enter the jail, much less seek permission to meet the Supreme Court-convicted killer Nalini.”

He said he would file a private complaint in the court to enforce the police to do its statutory duty if the State government failed to do so by May 21.
