Fire in Dadar mill compound

Mumbai: Large quantity of cotton stacked in sacks and clothes were reduced to ashes in a fire that broke out in a mill compound in Dadar on Wednesday, fire officials said.

The fire broke out at the second floor of the Kasturchand Mill compound on the Senapati Bapat Marg.

The reason behind the blaze and the extent of damage is yet to be ascertained, they said. — PTI
