A role for every road user

This is one task which cannot be left only to the officials. Every road user has a role to play. However, most Hyderabadis would rather remain ‘change seekers’, without realising that they can be the ‘change makers’ as well. Efforts by the police and other government departments to ease traffic congestion will not fructify if the citizens do not join hands with them.

The Hindu is providing an opportunity to citizens to put forth their suggestions and ideas to the traffic police. Additional Commissioner of Police V.S.K. Kaumudi, would answer questions relating to traffic management every week. This is your opportunity to put forth your suggestions to solve the problem. Crisp suggestions/queries of not more than 250 words with address and contact numbers can be emailed to hydlife@thehindu.co. in or posted to The City Editor, The Hindu, Begumpet, Hyderabad.
