Housewife arrested

A housewife Anjali, who picked up an argument with the security personnel at Secretariat, was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Her husband Durga Rao works as clerk in High Court and is to retire in two months.

The woman urged that the Government should allot the present quarter that they were residing in to their relative Murthy -also an employee of high court- so that they can live in the same quarter even after her husband’s retirement.

She wanted to meet a Principal Secretary rank officer in this connection.

The woman was handed over to Saifabad police.

Three held, daggers, swords seized

The Commissioner’s Task Force officials on Wednesday arrested three persons, Mohd. Shamshuddin Khan, 35, Ali Bin Hussain, 27, and Shaik Nayeem, 28, and seized two daggers and a sword from them.
