IPL joins SMS bandwagon

HYDERABAD: Way2SMS, a messaging portal, has tied up with several major advertisers to enhance the scope of mobile advertisement - ‘mobitisement’.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, CEO of the company V.V. Raju said that IPL was the latest advertiser on the mobile platform. Users can log in and register themselves so that they could send free SMSes. He said Way2SMS was offering 92 characters of space for SMS and the remaining space would be used for advertisements.
