Flashy outfit for umpires

BANGALORE: Mr. Vijay Mallya’s company designer Manoviraj Khosla has come up with a flashy outfit for the umpires in the IPL.

They will sport track suit type tops in red and black colours and wear hats that are a mix of straw golf and cowboy type Stetsons.

The umpires will award points to the players and the team with the best points would bag the ‘Fly Kingfisher Fair Play Award’.

A team can receive a maximum of ten points per match and exemplary behaviour would fetch two points, one for good behaviour and none for average behaviour. — Special Correspondent
