The results (U-14 girls semifinals): Sabatini Ankaraju bt P. Sudheera 6-2, 6-0; Sambhavani Dixit bt Nayanika Reddy 3-6, 6-4, 7-5. U-12: Nayanika Reddy bt P. Sudheera 6-4, 6-3; Sambahvani Dixit bt Moulika Ram 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. U-10: Harshitha Rao bt S. Shivani 6-0; Raveena Reddy bt Vedatri 6-1. U-14 boys semifinals: Rishab Agarwal bt Anush 6-1, 6-2; Dhruv Balakrishnan bt Ankit Reddy 6-1, 6-0. Doubles: Ankit Reddy-Rishab Agarwal bt A.L. Anirudh-Sai Nikhil 8-2; Ajay-Nishanth bt B.S. Babu Rao, secretary of Hyderabad District Powerlifting Association, as been named as the Indian coach for the Asian championship for men and women to be held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from May 1 to 6. The national team will attend a coaching camp in Delhi from April 18 to 29 before leaving for the above event.
