A pleasing sight

The Uppal stadium surely looked gaudy and decked-up on Wednesday when the six flood lights were switched-on for the first time, in the run up to the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. The towering flood lights and its illuminating glow was discernible to the naked eye, even from Tarnaka. From Tarnaka flyover, the glow of the flood lights resembled a huge bonfire. Spellbound by the lights, commuters along the Habsiguda-Tarnaka stretch made it sure to stop and park vehicles along the empty spaces near the Uppal GE building.
