Training workshop

The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation will organise a training workshop for masons, rod benders and other skilled and semi-skilled construction workers in two batches of 100 participants from April 18 to 27.

The workshop will focus on the safety and earthquake resistant construction practices of buildings at housing project site for the JNNURM at Payakapuram. The programme is being organised under the Urban Earthquake Vulnerability Reduction Projection, a United Nations Development Programme.
