Primary Health Centre Day to be observed from April 21

SIVAKASI: The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine will observe Primary Health Centre (PHC) day in all PHCs to create an awareness of its functioning and to provide quality health care to the public. It will be observed from April 21 to May 10.

The Sivakasi Deputy Director (Health Services), S. Balasubramanian, said that such celebration would bring people closer to the PHCs, which would also benefit as philanthropists would help construction of new buildings, compound wall, formation of park and tree plantation.
