‘Review decision on entrance exam’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Private self-financing colleges which are planning to conduct separate entrance examinations for the B.Sc. Nursing course should review their decision, Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy has said.

A press note here said managements of self-financing colleges are currently discussing admitting students to private self-financing colleges from the rank list prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and on a 50:50 seat sharing basis. At such a juncture some managements have announced plans to conduct entrance examinations on their own.
