Lightning kills two

SIRSI: Balu Mallu Pandenali(17) and Ambabai Janu Pandenali (36), an Ox and 26 sheep died when lightning struck them at Gouliwada in Bhagawati village in Haliyal taluk on Thursday. The youth Balu was grazing buffaloes near Teggalli Cross when lightning struck him. The loss is estimated at Rs. 1 lakh. — Correspondent
