BANGALORE: The Department of Geology, Bangalore University, has invited applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-funded research project.The study involves extensive field work in Cauvery Basin and laboratory, micropalcontological and geochemical work in Bangalore and other places. According to the university release, the essential qualification for the applicant is first class M.Sc., Geology/Applied Geology/Marine Geology/Earth Sciences. The duration of the project is three years with a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,000. Interested candidates can send their application with relevant documents to N. Malrkodi, Principal Investigator, DST Project, Department of Geology, Bangalore University, Bangalore 560056, on or before April 30. — Staff Reporter
