Liquor seized

BANGALORE: The Ramanagara Rural police on Friday recovered 58 boxes containing liquor from a vehicle parked near a farmhouse in Bidadi. According to Superintendent of Police T.G. Krishna Bhat, revenue authorities informed the police about illegal transportation of liquor. The police found the van near the farmhouse and recovered the boxes. The driver told the police that the liquor was being taken to a festival. He did not have valid documents to transport the liquor, Mr. Bhat said.
