Thiruvananthapuram: When the government notified concessions in the zoning regulations of the town planning schemes of Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode, it had announced that committees consisting of experts will be set up for recommending large development schemes.

It has accordingly set up three different committees for the three cities with the LSG secretary as chairman. The Chief Town Planner and the secretary of the local body concerned will be the members. — Special Correspondent
