PreservationThe Museums Director, P. Chenna Reddy, who opened the exhibition, underscored the need for preserving rare collections and heritage sites. The Department of Archaeology and Museums was making efforts to get the world heritage status to the historic Golconda Fort. ‘Seeking support’“We are also seeking support of all political parties, academicians and historians to exert pressure on the Central Government for getting such a status to Golconda,” he said.
