MP seeks support for private Bill

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Varkala Radhakrishnan, MP, has urged the leaders of various political parties to support the private bill for a High Court Bench in the capital city when the proposed bill is introduced in Parliament.

He was speaking after inaugurating an indefinite satyagraha organised by the members of the Thiruvananthapuram Bar Association (TBA) in front of Vanchiyoor court complex in the city on Friday.

Mr. Radhakrishnan was of the view that Union Minister for Non-Resident Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi, who is also the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, can play a positive role in clearing the bill in an expeditious manner.
