Woman alleges assault

NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old woman found injured in her house at Gandhi Nagar on Thursday has alleged that she was criminally assaulted by a former neighbour and his accomplices. The police initially suspected it to be a case of robbery. The woman, whose husband runs a hairdressing saloon in Paharganj, is recuperating in Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital. She told the police that on Thursday afternoon one of her former neighbours came to meet her and then forced himself on her along with his accomplices. The accused has been rounded up for interrogation.
