Victim identified

NEW DELHI: A young man who was found dead with gunshot wounds near Seelampur Metro railway station here on Thursday has been identified as a goldsmith. The police suspect that he was robbed of jewellery before being killed. The deceased has been identified as Prashant, who was staying in Gandhi Nagar. Police enquiries revealed that he was a goldsmith and was carrying jewellery when he was attacked by two young men on a motorcycle in the early hours of Thursday. The police have registered a case of murder.
