Mobile drinking water vehicles launched

Each vehicle will distribute at least 100 to 200 litres


They will provide protected mineral water to people

Vehicle personnel to specifically approach villagers




Novel gesture: Karimnagar One Town Sub Inspector P. Prashanth Reddy launching mobile drinking water vehicles in Karimnagar town on Saturday.

KARIMNAGAR: Come summer season, several voluntary organisations and others set up static drinking water points at various places of the town, especially near the bus stands, to quench the thirst of the commuters and others.

But fans of film actor Pawan Kalyan have introduced mobile drinking water pushcart vehicles to quench the thirst of pedestrians and others in the busy commercial centre of Tower Circle in Karimnagar town on Saturday.

The mobile drinking water vehicle would provide protected mineral water to people.

Karimnagar One Town SI P. Prashanth Reddy formally launched two vehicles at Tower Circle area on Saturday by serving water to people.

Pawan Kalyan fans association district president Md Arif Ahmed, town president Bejagam Madhu and others were also present.

Complimented

He complimented the fans for taking up the novel scheme.

Each mobile vehicle would distribute at least 100 to 200 litres of water a day.

“We have tied up with a local packaged mineral water plant”, he said.

The idea of launching of mobile drinking water vehicles came after seeing the plight of villagers, who come to the town on various purposes, search for drinking water in the hot summer.

Our mobile vehicle personnel would specially approach villagers on the roads and provide drinking water, he maintained.
