NALGONDA: The State government is all set to pay post-Matric scholarships for students online. The district Tribal Welfare Department has already started the process on an experimental basis. Scholarships to a tune of Rs.1.82 crore for 3,282 students studying in 221 colleges have been deposited in their bank accounts. As many as 23 principal banks and 156 branches are involved in the process. The college managements have been asked to make the students open bank accounts at the time of admissions. -Staff Reporter
