JNUSU stir

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: A relay hunger strike launched by the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union on the campus entered its sixth day on Saturday. The JNUSU has demanded implementation of 27 per cent reservation for the OBCs and recognition of madrassa certificates in JNU.

“After the positive report of the expert committee comprising senior faculty members, the JNU administration must get it cleared through the Academic Council and implement it,” said JNUSU president Sandeep Singh.
