Kolar BJP leader dies in accident

KOLAR: Venkatram (60), former president of the district unit of the BJP, was killed in a road accident on the outskirts of the town on Saturday.

The tragedy occurred when Mr. Venkataram was going on a two-wheeler with his wife Lakshmidevamma. A car reportedly hit the two-wheeler, killing Mr. Venkatram on the spot. Ms. Lakshmidevamma has been admitted to hospital with serious injuries.
