IPL daily tickets find more takers

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: The sale of daily tickets for the first two Indian Premier League matches at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium drew a better response than the sale of season tickets.

Stand B, priced at Rs.200 a ticket, was sold out on Saturday.

Approximately 7,000 tickets were bought at the TNCA counters — a majority of them for Stands B and D (Rs.500).

Tickets are also available at Landmark (Nungambakkam, Spencer Plaza and Citi Centre). The Chennai Super Kings will play the Mumbai Indians on April 23 before taking on the Kolkata Knight Riders on April 26.
