Procession disrupts traffic

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Traffic was thrown out of gear in the central parts of the city following a procession by Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists from Town Hall to Malleswaram on Saturday noon. Although the procession was supposed to start at 9.30 a.m., the activists began to move in batches only by noon. As a result, all roads from the south leading to the heart of the city, witnessed huge traffic jams.

The procession ended with a public meeting at Malleswaram.
