School peon caught evaluating answer papers

Ajmer: A peon of a senior secondary school in Jodhpur was caught while allegedly evaluating answer papers of the Rajasthan Board Examination on Friday.

An education officer caught the peon of the Mahalaxmi Girls Senior Secondary School while he was allegedly checking answer papers of mathematics, Ajmer Divisional Commissioner Deepak Upreti said.

The officer carried out the check following a complaint that the peon was evaluating the papers which were meant for Rajendra Vyas, a teacher in the school, he said.

An enquiry was ordered, he said. An FIR had been registered against Mr. Vyas and the peon. — PTI
