Training programme for women

PUDUCHERRY: The Samam Makalir Suyasarbu Iyakkam conducted a three-day training programme for village-level leaders of women Self-Help Groups from April 18 to 20.

Around 50 women participated in the camp.

The organisation has around 280 women SHGs across Puducherry. Sessions on feminism, laws for women and health problems were conducted during the camp.

They were also trained to present their issues through song and drama.
