1 killed in accident

VANIYAMBADI: One person was killed and 11 others were injured when a Karnataka State-owned bus rammed a stationary container lorry at Puthukoil near here in the early hours of Saturday.

Police said that out of the 12 injured, the condition of Raja Shankar (35) who was admitted to the Government Hospital at Ambur was stated to be serious. Bhuvaneswari (25), who was also taken to Government Hospital at Ambur, died on the way.
