Belgaum: A warm reception was accorded to vice-president of the Ramakrishna Math and the Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj who arrived here on Saturday for a weeklong stay at the Ramakrishna Ashram in Belgaum city. According to a press release there will be “mantra deeksha” by the swamiji on Tuesday and Thursday (10 a.m.). After visiting the ashram’s sub-centre on Swami Vivekananda Marg in the city on Wednesday, he will go to Dharwad to hold satsang at Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Ashram and return to Belgaum. A spiritual retreat for devotees of the Ramakrishna Order will be organised on Thursday evening.
