Case against 19 persons

PUDUCHERRY: The Odiansalai Police have registered a case against 19 persons for alleged involvement in a land grabbing case.

Police sources said those involved in the case included a functionary of a political party and a businessman.

The case was registered following a direction from a local court here on Friday.

A private complaint was filed in the court seeking direction to the police to register a case against 19 persons for fraudulently grabbing a house at La Porte Street. — Staff Reporter
