Dry weather

NEW DELHI: RAINFALL: Rain/ thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry over the rest of the region.

TEMPERATURE: The maximum temperature rose in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were appreciably above normal in Uttarakhand, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 41.8°C recorded at Varanasi A.P. (Uttar Pradesh).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 22nd April 2008: Weather will be mainly dry over the region. Day temperatures are likely to increase by 01 to 01°C over the region.

FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 22nd April 2008: Mainly clear sky. The maximum temperature will be around 39°C.
