BELLARY: Rain, accompanied by gusty wind, thunder and lightning, lashed Bellary city on Sunday. The showers have brought some respite from the soaring mercury. But power supply has been disrupted since afternoon. According to a Gescom official, trees had fallen on electric poles in many localities, disrupting power supply. Repair work is under way at Cowl Bazar, on Sirguppa Road and Sudha Cross to restore supply. — Staff Correspondent
