Six-year-old boy drowns

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: A six-year-old boy drowned while he was playing in a water pool at an amusement park on Saturday. The police have identified the boy as Bhushan M. Angadi, son of Mahalingappa M. Angadi, a native of Hubli. Bhushan had gone to Water World with his relatives. As the amusement park personnel signalled closure of the park for the day, all others, except Bhushan, came to the changing room. Realising Bhushan’s absence, his mother and relatives began to search for him. They found Bhushan being removed out of the pool by the employees of the park. He was shifted to a private hospital where he was declared dead.
