Man murdered
An unidentified person was found murdered near a graveyard at Dabeerpura on Sunday. Police said the assailants killed the 30-year-old man elsewhere and dumped the body near the burial ground. The victim was clad in a black shirt and blue jeans. The body was preserved at the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for identification and autopsy.
Car driver killed
A car driver, who suffered serious injuries after the scooter he was riding was hit by a motorcycle near his house at Kismatpur in Rajendranagar on April 8, succumbed to injuries at the Osmania General Hospital on Saturday. L. Ravi Kumar (27) was returning home when the accident occurred.
Gangster held
A gangster who was involved in a series of offences was arrested by the city police on Sunday. Syed Khaled Ahmed alias Ajju (45), a resident of Fatehdarwaza, was involved in 30 cases. A sword was also recovered from his possession. Ajju was a close of associate of a gangster Ayub Khan who was absconding, the police said.
