Staff Reporter

Tirumala: Minister for Panchayat Ray J.C. Diwakar Reddy on Sunday reiterated his stance that he would not hesitate to press for the demand of including Anantapur district in Karnataka in case a seperate Telangana State is carved out.

Talking to media persons Reddy said that the district is rather forced to combat with several hurdles in achieving the overall development of the place and the 10 tmc of water which the district is to judiciously receive from Karnataka is just an example.

In reply to a question he said that he would vote for a united Andhra State and at the same time brushed aside speculations that there were internal differences amongst the party cadre.
