BJP fields Subhash Bharani

BANGALORE: The Bharaitya Janata Party has fielded the former police officer Subhash Bharani as its candidate from T. Narasipur.

Mr. Bharani’s name was included in the third list of candidates released by the party late on Sunday night, taking the total number of nominees to 193. The other candidates are: N. Mahadevaiah (Nanjangud); Chikkaveera Nayak (H.D. Kote); Gopalakrishna Belur (Sagar); Jayaram (Madhugiri); Guruswamy (Hosadurga); Nagaraj (Magadi); and Mariswamy (Dasarahally). — Special Correspondent
