NEW DELHI: RAINFALL: Weather was dry over the region.
TEMPERATURE: The maximum temperature changed little. They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand, above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthanan and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 43.2°C recorded at Varanasi A.P. (Uttar Pradesh).
FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 23rd April 2008: Weather will be mainly dry over the region. After 24 hours rain/ thundershowers are likely in Jammu and Kashmir. Gradual rise in day temperatures and heat wave conditions may develop in isolated pockets of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 23rd April 2008: Mainly clear sky. The maximum temperature will be around 40°C.
