Panel to revise audit manual

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has appointed a nine-member committee to revise the Kerala Cooperative Audit Manual. The committee has been asked to submit its report within six months with recommendations for revision of the manual and clear provisions for defining the duties and responsibilities of the auditor.

Chairman of the State Cooperative Union E. Narayanan, the former Additional Registrar of Cooperatives C. Radhakrishnan, Additional Registrars K.V. Suresh Babu and L. Soman and Palakkad district Cooperative Bank president P.A. Ummer are among the members. — Special Correspondent
