Rs 1,768 cr. tax claim on ONGC

NEW DELHI: The Income-tax Department has slapped a Rs. 1,768.49-crore tax claim on Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), mainly for the price discount it gives to refiners for subsidising cooking and auto fuels, PTI reports.
